Southport Elementary is a Southern Association Accredited public K-5 school serving the communities of Southport and Oak Island. The current campus opened in 1975 and continues the long tradition of a true community school. The faculty, staff, and administration, are committed to educating the whole child and not just in the subjects tested under the No Child Left Behind Act.

SCS is an independent, inter-denominational Christian ministry meeting at Cape Fear Alliance Church at 8068 River Road, just north of Southport, NC, on Route 133. We are not affiliated with, do not discriminate against or show preference to any Christian church or denomination. Our Statement of Faith and Mission Statement explain in more detail. Our aim is to serve God by educating His children in a loving environment centered on our Savior Jesus Christ.
